MAGIC by Trevor Moore

Today we started off with a classroom meeting about bathroom drawing. We then switched classes around and had Mrs. Butt first today for humanities.

During this time all the students were invited to a surprise presentation in the gym for a half an hour. The presentation was so much fun! Trevor Moore came to the school to do magic. He got the kids involved and surprised us all with his magic tricks. Makayla in our class was picked to be a volunteer for one of the magic tricks, and it was so much fun to watch her get fooled by a magic egg.

In gym the students went to rotary park to play capture the flag, they all came back very excited.

In the afternoon the students had sciences with me. We started off with math before gym, learning more about fractions. In Sciences, today was a fun class. The students learned about air resistance by dropping different shaped paper and determining which fell faster. We had a friendly little competition to see which group could make their paper stay in the air for the longest. The group that won got a sucker. Ibrahim, Zaki, Austin and Adi's groups ended up winning the competition. The students had a lot of fun making their designs.

The class then had a bit of time to work on art, and science fair.

Tomorrow the class has a bullying presentation by Const. Argu since our classes have had a few incidents with bullying in the last while. We want to get it under controle now so we have asked for some outside help and Const. Argue will come in and do a presentation on this.

Also tomorrow the class has their Market PLace where they get to try and sell something to other classes, in exchange for their beans. The class seems very excited for this, and we can not wait to see what everyone brings.
