Shadows!!!

This morning, we went to Mrs. Butt's classroom because the grade 3's needed to use our comptures for their animations.

In humanities, we worked on spelling and read about First Nations and answered questions about them. We also made a legend with a map.

In gym, we played line tag to warm up and then played kickball.

This afternoon, exchanged rooms with Mr. Dunlops class becasue we needed a dark room to do a shadows project.

We did an experiment with shadows measuring how long shadows are when we change where the light source is.

We then came back to our classroom and worked on math, learning about estimating division.

Our class also won our "Mug Exchange" award we have been working on since Christmas. We will recieve a letter to explain how to take part, for anyone who would like to participate. We will have the exchange when we come back from Easter break.
