Remembrance Day Celebration

This morning in Humanities we read a Rememberance Day newspaper and Mrs. Butt read to us out of our "Our Alberta" text book.

In gym, we went to Rotary Park and played in the snow. Our class had fun building snowmen and forts out of snow.

We also had a rememberance day ceremony this morning. We had a moment of silence for 2 minutes. We also had a past soldier come and talk to us about his time in the War. We watched videos about remeberance day and also had music. Mrs. Kean's dad played the bag pipe for our school to start and end the ceremony. There was also a reading and drawing from the 7/8 B class.

This afternoon we did sciences. We first worked with an experiment learning about different pulleys, then read and took notes about pulleys.

We then had math where we started our review on multiplication. We are going to have a quiz on this section on Friday. Study this section by doing the review and fixing mistakes throughout the unit.

Tomorrow is Rememberance Day so there is no school. We are so happy!!!
