Biodegradable- to break down

In the morning today, we had to work on social by using our computers and textbooks. We had to find definitions of bolded words and type them up and print them to take them home.
In gym, we played a new game called Scatter Ball, it was tiring but fun!
This afternoon, we got marks back for our bath/shower lab. We also read our science booklet and learnt about Recycling. We also learnt how long things take to biodegrade. We
couldn't believe how long it takes for diapers, glass bottles and tin foil to break down. We also learnt that Styrofoam does not break down! We have a project that is due Friday. We need to read a scenario from 2030 from a sheet we got, and write a paragraph describing what our lives would be like in this situation and how old we would be. We also have a science test next Wednesday on the entire Waste unit. We need to start studying so we don't have to waste our long weekend studying!
In math, we practiced right to left addition and worked on estimation.
