Habitats

The grade 5 class has been learning about Wetlands. We were studying ecosystems and habitats in wetlands. To finish off the unit I had the class extend their thinking into other habitats. The students had to pick an animal they liked, research the habitat in which it is found, and create a diorama of the animal's habitat by following the diorama guidelines handed out in class. The class had a lot of fun working on this project. They were all very excited to show off their hard work. The dioramas turned out fabulous. Here are the habitats the children decided to research.
